Aquarium School
Learn from the Experts
The Aquarium Vet team has more than 50 years of combined veterinary experience working with aquariums of all sizes, from home aquariums to some of the largest public aquariums in Australia and New Zealand. We created Aquarium School to make expert aquarium knowledge accessible to anyone who wants to build their confidence and improve the health of their fish.
Throughout this course, we explain key aquarium concepts in an easy-to-understand format, including the science behind water quality and the nitrogen cycle. By understanding these fundamentals, you'll be better equipped to create a healthy environment for your fish and reduce the risk of disease developing in your aquarium.
Course Format
The course is primarily video-based and can be completed at your own pace. At the end of the course, you'll complete a short assessment to test your knowledge. Upon successful completion, you'll receive a Certificate of Completion.
Why Is Aquarium School No Longer Free?
For many years, Aquarium School has been available as a free educational resource for fish keepers around the world.
As the platform has grown, so have the costs of maintaining the learning management system, website, course content, and educational resources. To ensure we can continue providing high-quality training and develop new courses, we have introduced a small subscription fee.
